The rebate check you received was for the credit card fees for donations you received using your Merchant Account. When you signed up, you may have received a certain amount of donations free of credit card processing fees. But since certain Merchant Account providers charge the fees regardless of our deals, this rebate check is our way of reimbursing you with the free credit card processing fees.
If your GiveSmart Fundraise agreement entitles your organization to 0% credit card processing fees, we will reimburse you the processing fee that you were charged through your Merchant Account provider.
