Check Device Compatibility
Prior to placing a credit card swiper order, make sure your mobile device is compatible with the swipers. The swipers are only compatible with devices that have a Lightning Connector. If your device is not on the list linked below, it will not work with the swiper or companion app.
Note: Swipers should be purchased far in advance of intended usage (30-60 days) to ensure you account for shipping time. Purchasing swipers 30-60 days prior to your event will also give your organization a chance to familiarize themselves and troubleshoot any issue(s) before the date of intended use.
GiveSmart only uses the Magtek iDynamo 5 credit swipers provided by our merchant services partner, CardConnect. These swipers are compatible for use with both GiveSmart Events and GiveSmart Fundraise.
Only swipers purchased by clicking the blue ORDER HERE link below, are compatible with their associated GiveSmart mobile apps.

- Swipers cost $155 each and are non-refundable. If there are any issues, replacements are available within 30 days of receiving your order.
- The organization's bank account will be debited the cost of the order at the beginning of the following month that the order is placed. The fee will be detailed in that month's CardPointe processing statement.
- Current order processing time can be found on the order form.
- Orders with 20+ swipers are considered a bulk order and will take at least 6 months to fulfill.

Download the GiveSmart Fundraise Mobile App
The GiveSmart Fundraise app is free, and is available for download on iOS (Apple) devices. You can download the GiveSmart Fundraise credit card swiper app onto a mobile phone or tablet by going to the Apple App Store.
Once the swiper(s) have arrived, attach it to your phone or mobile device.

Does the swiper need to be charged beforehand?
- No - the swipers are powered by the iPad/iPhone's lightning port when connected.
How will I know if the app is for GiveSmart Events or GiveSmart Fundraise once downloaded?
- Once the app has been downloaded on your Apple device, the app icon will display as Events or Fundraise.
